June Yap, one of Wendy's BrandImage protégés, is passionate in empowering women to be the best versions of themselves. With the combination of her own personal journey in an international pageant and her background in corporate training, she is the best person to impart and share her knowledge, skills and experiences to any women out there who aims to experience the world of pageantry and transform themselves into a refined lady in a safe environment through an effective methodology.
Coming from a modest traditional family background where emphasis was never put on appearances and grooming, June has always had the longing to want to be one of the beautiful people in her school as well as the television. To fulfill her childhood dream, she decided to take the plunge and entered the world of pageantry. It was definitely an uphill adventure as it was a new experience and she was out of her comfort zone. Her enrolment in the Certified BrandImage Professional programme (CBIP) at BrandImage International Institute (BII) prepared her well in appearance, grooming, behavior and etiquette that were needed to succeed in the pageant. Her excellent communication skills, on the other hand, was a result of her professional corporate experience in sales and marketing, followed by in-house training, learning and development roles in human resources.
She was shortlisted as the Top 12 finalists in the Mrs. World pageant 2016, held in Dong Guan, China and was awarded the Best Dressed National Costume. In addition, she is also a Certified BrandImage Professional, a consultant who consults and trains individuals as well as corporate professionals on appearance, grooming, communication skills, behavior and etiquette to reflect the values of the corporation they work for.
